first impressions.... a lot faster than the 3GS! screen really is phenomenal. even when zoomed in all the way there are no jagged lines. housing is so friggin shiny! if for whatever reason someone actually uses the VGA camera up front to take photos of yourself, there's no point because the whole rear is essentially a mirror! overall it feels extremely solid, all the buttons give you a nice 'click' when pressed. i like the folders as they're implemented better than categories, but dislike how you can only fit 12 items; would have preferred 16. haven't really noticed the reception problem yet, but i'll get more testing with it tomorrow. still haven't tried facetime. either way, big step forward and it's much better in person than in photos. :D

Thanks for the pix! Did you install a shield on the back or is that just the plastic cover it ships with?

I'll probably end up putting some anti-glare film on mine. I guess SJ just really likes things to be shiny.

Already tried, know exactly what you mean. LED 'flashes' are garbage and almost always cause photos to be washed out. i don't see myself ever really using it anyway.

Don't take pictures with it on with the LED light they will look hazy.

i'm playing with an old manual mamiya 80mm lens on my 5D2. but thanks for your insight into photography
Need rounded aperture blades OP

No kidding. 6-blades = weaksauce wide open. :(

thank you. I would prefer not. You can always link people here. these photos are hardly great as they're simply snapshots. plenty of other pictures out there more worthwhile to share.
Excellent pictures!

Edited: may I share them, quoting you?
