Ship time of the MBP, how long did you wait?

Have you bought a macbook pro lately? I'm just wondering how long it took to get to you, because I will be buying one next week I hope, but I need to have it before I go to college, which I'll be going to in about 2 and a hlaf weeks. So I'm worried that if I order it next week I won't quite get it in time. So, anyone have any experience with it lately??

Any chance you could get to an Apple retail store? I did and was walking out with my new MBP in ~1 hour (had to browse/drool at all the shiny goodies while I was there).

nope, not really an option...i'm actually already living in the town where I'll be going to college, so it's not too bad. There is a campus store up at the college and I was up there yesterday, but they are all sold out too, and they said that it will be a week and a half or so until they get them. And yes, I would love to drool all over all of their stuff in one of those stores...
