What are shipping estimates for ordering from Apple Store 32GB iPhone 5S Gold vs ordering from AT&T Retail Store same ship times?

Did you look on their websites? That would probably give you a pretty good idea (regardless if you ordered in person).

Apple Store reads October
AT&T estimates 28-42 business days.

I got mine from AT&T on Monday. Their estimate was end of October. So I wouldn't put much stock in that.

I remember last year with the iPhone 5, I wanted one for Xmas and at the end of November the shipping estimate from AT&T was 2 to 3 weeks. I ordered in the last week of November to be safe. The phone shipped the next day!

No update on Gold. Still 28-42 business days all sizes.

We just got an update today that Silver and Grey in all sizes are 3-5 business days and we expect to have them in corporate stores by 10/21.

This is through AT&T corporate.
