Now, I will be purchasing the new macbook pro soon and for reasons that I'd rather not get into, I'd like to have it shipped to a UPS store. I figure you get a box there and it's an actual address, the clerks at the store also sign for packages. The question is, will Apple ship to UPS stores (not USPS to be clear). Has anyone had any experience with this?

I'm not trying to ship to my home and reroute it or have it held at a UPS location, but shipped directly to a UPS location. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Literally 15 seconds on Google ("Can I ship my packages to UPS") turned up this entire explanation, services offerings, right on the UPS site:

That doesnt answer my question. I know that UPS can hold the package, I know that I can pick up the package from UPS. This I've only found to be the case so far when it's shipped to you personally first, and then the request is made to be held or rerouted. My question is based on if Apple will ship directly to UPS as a shipping address as it's not an actual PO(post office box) and many shippers have no problem shipping to UPS given that they give a real address and there is a clerk to sign for the package on your behalf.

To answer your question directly, you can ship directly to a UPS store. I’ve done it before with iPhones, especially with more expensive items when I know I won’t be home. What I would do, is find a specific UPS store you want, verify with them of what your wishes are, they will call you when the package arrives for you to sign for directly upon pick up. For example: My UPS store is located on 1234 XYZ St., as long as it has a physical address where somebody can sign for the package, it shouldn’t be a problem, at least it wasn’t for me. [Apple can’t differentiate the UPS store from any other location, as long as it actually has a physical address that matches the region of where the package will be delivered.]
