I can't find any reliable info about this. Most of my search results are 4+ years old. Apparently when iPads first came out it wasn't possible to ship them but it is now? Maybe? Can anyone shed some light?

Two years ago sales of the new iPhone 6 were temporarily suspended in Japan so I bought one from the USA Apple store and had my sister ship it to me via USPS. No problems at all.

Just purchased my iPad Pro from US and was intending to have it shipped to me as well, but the box is covered in DANGER! DANGER! Lithium ion battery! stickers. Am I going to run into problems with USPS by leaving these stickers on and shipping internationally (airmail obviously)? It feels wrong to take them off, even though it's not really a secret what's inside the device.

Sorry to ask here. Apparently it's a holiday in the US now so there's no way to ask the post office until Monday. If the answer is gonna be "no" I need to look for another shipper. After a whole year of waiting and saving up for my first iPad (broke student) and spending the last 6 months with limited PC access I'm going a little crazy in the home stretch...
