Shipping Question

I ordered a BTO iMac yesterday. The apple on-line store quoted 2-4 business days after ordering until it ships. I've heard that your credit card doesn't get charged until the order ships but my iMac hasn't shipped according to the apple website. However, my free printer and $100 gift card shipped today.

Is it possible my iMac shipped as well but the system is delayed in showing it or do they charge my card as soon as the first item ships?

No, they ship when available and separately.

Thanks. What's also strange is that the website said that the $100 gift card would ship within 1 day of the computer shipping. It sounded like the computer would ship and then the gift card but I guess not... Hurry up and wait mode!
