"shipping today in, in stores tomorrow" ?

Steve Job said "shipping today in, in stores tomorrow" but I just ordered my macbook and right under it was written

Shipping: 1-3 business days

When I bought my macbook the receipt said between October 20th and 27th? So whats up with that? Can anyone help?

EDIT: I did upgrade my ram to 4GB and my HD to 250GB.. is it possible that made the difference? Anyone else in the same situation?

Yup, it is because you customized it.
I ordered sort of the same thing with the express shipping. I should get it Oct. 16-20

Meaning that the factory models are shipping from apple headquarters today and will be in the apple stores tomorrow. The 1-3 business days shipping means that apple will ship your computer out of their factory in 1-3 business day and then depending on the shipping method, it will probably take another 5-7 days for you to recieve it.
