Ships 9/28 - Delivery date or fedex pickup day?

Sorry I'm probably the 500th poster about something along these lines, but I only have a solid answer for launch day.

I ordered from Verizon at 4:30 EST launch day (over the phone business), and my conformation page now has a ship date of 9/28. Can anyone clarify exactly what this means (delivery day or ship day)? Thanks for the help

It says ship date, it should be pretty sled explanatory what that means.
