Shop put in the wrong RAM?

Hey everyone, I have a brand new 2011 macbook pro 15 in and I took mine to shop to upgrade the ram to 8gb. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is the correct ram? I thought it was supposed to be 1333 mhz? Thanks so much!

It is supposed to be 1333. The 2010 mbp used 1066 so maybe they didn't realize it took 1333. You should have just ordered it and done it on your own though. Its a dead simple job and would probably have saved you some $.

Ahhh damn I knew it, they originally ordered me the ram for the old one, then assured me multiple times that they had the correct one in stock. I'm just going to return the ram and order my own. Thanks for the fast reply!

Regardless its faster now.
