Anyone know if there is a way to shop foreign iTunes stores without a foreign billing address? I was hoping to see what iTunes was offering in France and Japan.

Hi

I don't know, but it is somewhat sad that one can't do that, isn't ??

I can understand preventing you from buying hardware, but I think
it should be ok to buy MP3s from the other itunes stores.

If you can get in touch with other companies that sell MP3s in those
countries you may be able to get/download music from them.

I know of a company in Germany, but I am unaware of a company
in France or Japan.

Unfortunately a setback for Apple because people will keep on
looking for a way to get those other interesting and diffferent kinds
of MP3s.

Kind regards,

igmolinav

Hey,

I live in Canada and shop in the iTunes Canada and US store.

I purchased cards online from ebay and such and just enter
random addresses in the accounts area.

You might want to consider that?

You're able to access the international iTunes Stores and shop around, listening to tracks, etc., but you won't be able to buy anything (without being tricky, such as mentioned in post #3). To get to the international stores, just go down to the dropdown menu at the bottom of the iTMS home page.

Hi.

I was looking into this myself as I wanted to buy and rent movies from the US iTunes Store from Norway.
I checked eBay and they have quite a few gift cards for sale and some with instruction help.
I think you need to make a new iTunes Store account, for each country.. If you enter THIS site it may be able to help you.

I havent tried it myself yet, but will do as soon as I get my ATV :)

Hope this helps you
