Shortage of 8GB iPhones

Just checked the inventory system at apple.com, it does appear that there are more stores sold out of the 8GB models than the other models. Although, this inventory system was criticized as not very reliable back in July, I think the bugs are mostly worked out. My guess, the 8GB will be dropped soon and a 32GB model will come into the picture.......

Or they are using the 8GB chips in the new Nano's. Since there seems to be plenty of them around and not a lot of the 16GB models yet.

Well duh. People want iPhones for Christmas. If there are no 8's, people will buy 16's.

Bit early for Christmas shopping or a ploy to screw over consumers......
