I typically have Mail, iTunes, iA Writer and a couple of other apps open. I use some of these apps in full-screen mode and some of them in specific desktops (e.g. desktop 2 or 3). I also use the ctrl-1/ctrl-2/ctrl-3 shortcuts to switch between desktops but these won't work if the apps are in full-screen mode (they'll just be positioned 'after' the desktops, in fourth or fifth position in Spaces). Is there a way to create a shortcut that enables me to switch between all these apps/desktops?

So ctrl-1 etc. will only switch between desktops and not between full-screen apps, but I want to be able to extend that to the full-screen apps as well. (I know option-tab, but it's not as efficient as getting to right app at once)

Sounds a bit OCD, but I'm continuously looking for an more efficient workflow ;)

Any ideas?

Thanks!

4-finger swipe on the trackpad. left-right switches between desktops, up shows all available desktops, down shows all windows on the current desktop.
