Is the (command-grave accent) shortcut a useful shortcut for some application? I would like to use it for the Witch application, but it says it's 'taken by another application'. If I won't ever need to use said shortcut, I'll just keep it as it is. Thanks.

Command+tab is used to switch between running applications, and command+` between windows of the active application. These are system-wide shortcuts and I don't think they can be changed.

You're correct. Command+` is a system shortcut.

There might be a third-party shortcut-changing app that can do, but it will affect every app.
