Hi is there any way to put an icon/shortcut to a specific photo on the iPhone 4 desktop?? I dont know if maybe I saw this feature on an iPhone 5 or if I am thinking of something totally different, but I thought you could click on the button you would use to say, email the photo, and there was an option to place on desktop or something of the like. Anybody know what I'm talking about!? Thanks!

No, that's simply called a menu bar. U bring up a photo, the menu bar at the bottom tells you what you can do with the current displayed photo.

What EXACTLY do you want to do?

I want to be able to click on an icon & it open a certain picture.

where is the photo located? Is it in your iPhones photo library? If so, I don't think you could do that.

Alternatively, you could upload the photo onto Flickr or something and create a shortcut to that photo's web page. Would this work for you?

There is no way unless the general release of IOS7 has it.

You can however have a photo in fotobucket.com for example, point to it via safari, then u can SAVE the Safari URL as an icon on your desktop.
