Shortcut to open app won’t unless iPhone unlocked

I want to run an app automatically when CarPlay connects. I’ve disabled “ask to run” but I’m finding the notification and still asks to “continue”.

I tried with my iPhone unlocked and looking at the screen, when CarPlay connected, the app did open. But this isn’t happening when they iPhone is locked.

I’ve deleted the shortcut, is a simple one, when CarPlay connects, open app, and tried again but still not working.

I’m on an iPhone 12 and iOS 14.4 all apps and everything updated as of today

Any ideas or help please
