HomePod Shortcuts App HomePod Automation Test Request.

Respectfully requesting anyone with a HomePod and the Shortcuts app please test something for me.

When trying to create a time based trigger “Home automation” through the Shortcuts app, and HomePod is selected as the accessory, it won’t let me select the audio. Then get an error that the automation cannot be completed. Can some body test this through the Shortcuts app please and see if Choose Audio comes up for you.

Same issue with Location based triggers. Wondering if it’s just me or something widespread enough to mention as a bug to Apple.

Just tried it for you and it works for me. It allowed me to chose music from library and Apple Music (for you).

Just tried it for you and it works for me. It allowed me to chose music but...only from my library. The option to chose from Apple Music wasn’t there. Do you have your music library enabled?

Thank you. Yes I do. Funny thing is it works fine through the Home app. Let’s me select anything from my Apple Music library but that option doesn’t come up in the Shortcuts app. So far, I tried hard resetting my phone and uninstalling/re-installing the Shortcuts app.

Just as an FYI, earlier I installed iOS 13.3 dev beta. Don’t know if that has anything to do with it.

Yep, it allowed me to chose music from my iTunes purchases and cloud library as well as the usual Apple Music options.

Ahh, interesting maybe this was fixed in 13.3....

No idea but tried it again with a random cloud track that I ripped myself years ago and that works too.

Gotchya. I don’t have any iTunes purchases but it works fine with my Apple Music library in the Home App

I'm in the same boat @Itinj24, can't choose audio in shortcuts, but works fine in the home app. I ended up just creating a scene in home to choose the audio and integrated it with shortcuts that way.

Hoping someone with 13.2 can givethis a quick go. If it’s a 13.3 fix, then I can wait. I do all my home automations through the Home app anyway but my OCD comes out when stuff doesn’t work the way it should.
