Sitting here looking at my black iPad 2... I really wish my magic mouse was black to match.

What do you guys think? Should apple make black an option?

no. it would look cheap. just like this:

i'm tired of all this black and white crap. with macbooks, you pay extra to get the magical black one, with iphones, it's the white one that's exclusive and rare. i wish apple would get over themselves with this white vs black product coloring.

I'm not saying one has to be better than the other. I'd just like it if my magic mouse, and wireless keyboard matched the colors of my MBP and iPad.

Magic Mouse and Wireless keyboard look out of place with iMacs because of this imo. Should have the black keys the same as the MBP keyboard.

Doesnt look as bad with a MBP in clamshell hooked up to a cinema display though.

no answer your question, which few seem to be doing..

I think black would be a good option.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8F190 Safari/6533.18.5)

To be completely honest, the mouse and keyboard weren't designed to go with the MBP... they were designed to go well with the iMac and Mac Pro. The MBP already has it's own dedicated mouse and keyboard.

I'd get a black one if there was one available and I don't think it would look cheap at all. If it were made black, the finish and look would look something VERY similar to the first black iPod's. Black but with that glass/plastic finish on top.
