Hi! Pardon my stupid question.
I got a 6 today (no words.......) and I got a TPU case for it. Now, we all know TPU cases are kinda a tight fit so I was wondering if its gonna make the phone bend if I put the phone into it and it's too tight. I know it's a stupid question but I've read SO much about the bendgate and how easily the new iPhone bends and I'm terrified it's gonna bend just by looking at it. Should I buy a silicon case? I keep thinking the case is gonna be too tight for the phone and it's gonna apply pressure to it and it's gonna bend.
I intend to NEVER put the phone in a pocket lol. Just coat pockets!
Again, really sorry for asking such a dumb question, but I bought the phone full price and I dont want it to break. Please bear with me.

Thanks in advance!

Never had an issue with a TPU case on any iPhone. Got the i6 on release day and it's been in a TPU ever since. Matter of fact my husband and son have the i6 and i6 plus both in TPU case and not one issue

No issues with my 6 Plus in a TPU case. Using it until my Magpul case shows up.

I have a clear TPU case and I like it a lot. Had if for about 2 months for my iPhone 6. Make sure you get a good one and you should have no problem.

TPU cases are usually not that hard and have some give to them. Some of my favorite cases in the past were TPU. They didn't stay being my favorite as my white TPU picked up stains quickly and couldn't be cleaned. My husband likes the clear TPU but they also would yellow within a few months. They are very cheap so he would just switch them out every few months. If you go for a black TPU you should be fine. Black doesn't show staining.

TPU cases have been fine for my iPhone 5 after starting with an Otterbox Defender. I've had the Belkin Grip Candy Sheer and the Incipio NGP. Both have provided good protection against minor drops. 23 months in and no cracks or bending.

Just don't keep it in a pocket. I will say the new Defenders look to be sleeker than the 4 and 5 series, so that may be a good option to provide more structural integrity.
