Hello everyone,
I bought my iPhone 15 Pro blue titanium back in late January.
Six months after I bought it, I started seeing the battery health drop to 99%. That was on April 29th, and as of today, it's 97%.
I kept a charge limit of 90% for a few weeks, thanks to some other iPhone 15 Pro/16 users who gave me advice in the iOS 18 battery thread.
I'm wondering if it's due to how often I charge it. I understand heavy users get hit with this a lot, and I do use a certified MagSafe charger (Courant) for two weeks and it probably impacted the degradation. I charge it 2x/day including overnight, after a workout, during my break at school, and when I'm hanging in my room at home.
Your opinions are appreciated. I will continue to investigate this further. If I'm still doing the right thing to safeguard the longevity of this iPhone 15 Pro battery and it is not due to a beta or something I can do to help minimize it, I may also chat with an Apple Genius on my next Apple Store visit. It's completely abnormal for an iPhone battery to get lower health in six months.
For reference, my AW6, which is a year old, has only degraded to 91% battery health despite watchOS 11 betas misreading the battery health earlier on.
