Bought a refurbisehd 13.3" Macbook Pro, but the label at the bottom of the screen just reads, "MacBook". Any reason to worry in case I have warranty issues down the road?

Yes, you should be worried because you did not get what you paid for if you bought a 13" MBP. What's your receipt show?

Yeah that seems a bit sketch. You bought a MBP, not a MacBook. I mean, they are the same on the outside, but you didnt get what you paid for. I would call and get a new one.

Why don't you contact the place from which you purchased the Mac? They'll know better than anybody on an internet forum.

Not to sound stupid, but did you check to make sure you actually bought a MBP? Because I was looking at the refurbished Macs and I thought I was looking at some 13 inch MBPs, but it was actually an aluminum Macbook. They look the same...

update

It is a Macbook Pro. Has the SD Cart slot, 2.53, 4gb ram, FW800. The inside and outside are a MBP, except for the wording on the glass.

They want me to take it into an Apple Store to have it checked out.

I would say some tech pieced together your MBP with either display or glass from a prior generation UMB.

Why don't you post a pic so we can tell. Also check your system preferences to see model number and manufacturer of display itself.

You NEED to get replaced as will cause problems down future as they will think you have broken and replaced display with a UMB parts.

Get what you paid for!
