Should I buy a Macbook Pro or should I wait?

I ve been wanting to get a Macbook pro for sometime now, mine is reaching its 4th year and I feel I need a change. I do video editing and animation and its been getting harder and harder as time passes. I want the 16gb ram, 2.8 quadcore, 512gb. 2gb video card. Its one of the most expensive ones. So... Should I wait for an update or its a good time to buy it? Thank you for taking the time to answer and advice me.

If you need now or very soon buy now. I recommend a refurb you save several hundred and get same machine basically.
