Problem: Have an older HP 3180 all in one. Ink dries up before I can use it, because like many, we almost never print at home.
Found what looks like a good deal on a Xerox 8560 solid ink printer. Deal to take place (or not) this afternoon.
Question: Should I drop $200 to solve this problem?
Pro: Solid ink, very little waste, very green among printers. Cost per page is very low overall. Life cycle of a printer in a home environment should be very long.
Con: $200 investment (CL price). Either need to leave on in stand by mode, or suffer the wait of 15 min warm up cycle and some ink waste when ever it's power cycled.
Thoughts?
