Should I buy an Apple TV now or is there a new one coming for this Christmas?

I'd like an Apple TV but I'm thinking I should wait in case something new comes out for Christmas.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

The current Apple TV's aren't enjoying too much popularity right now. At least, not from the threads and articles I've seen lately.
