I really like the current MBA with a more impressive keyboard and mouse click style than MB Pro and MacBook, but I do not know how much the current Air can spend till slow down of Macos upgrad every yrs ,should i buy nowor wait new model release???? Thank you

I upgraded from my MacBook Air 2008 to MacBook Air 2011 because the old one couldn't edit 1080p video. I'm still on my 2011 and can do everything I need. Dunno why you would want or need to upgrade, everyone is different and has different reasons and requirements.

So if i buy this one now how many yrs last long till slow down i can use ????

All the Airs going back to around 2013 or so should be good performance wise for the basics. Will still be good for a long while I think. RAM might be an issue if you stuck with 4GB... but the cpus are still pretty good.

It's really about what you want to do with it, if it's slowing down doing the things you want to do... then you need an upgrade... if not then it'll be fine. macOS isn't going to need any more power.

The main issue is the screen really, if you don't mind the screen... then just keep on using the Air.

If the next Air replacement gets quad-core.. it'll be an improvement... but probably not even noticeable.

I like keyboard/touch click on air
only display not retina HD or kind of like Pro model, otherwise is love it>>>>

Why wouldn't any of you just wait a bit longer and see what Apple is going to release to replace the Air? I'm mean, seriously, it's $1000+ you're going to spend. Why not spend it on the latest and greatest Apple has to offer? Definitely wait for the new Air to come out and if you don't like it, there's plenty of old Airs out there to fall back on. Refurb store is full of them.
