Should I buy now or wait

Sorry, this Q has probably been asked a million times!

I am fed up with Windows laptops consistently failing after 2.5 years and wish to buy a MBP. My current one is starting to do that now.

I require a 13" machine to run office etc and to be portable.

I love the look of the current model, but keep reading rumours of a new one.

Will the new one be considerbaly different? Is it worth waiting? Is there a typical month when new models are launched

Any guidance would be very well appreciated!

Any current Mac will fulfill your computational needs, even ones from 2008 or older.
We don't know when new MBPs are released (April to July is the general consensus in one of those 2012 MacBook Pro threads) or if they get a new design. Apple does not release such information to the public.

Waiting might get you a better spec sheet, but the current model will handle that workload like a walk in the park.


If the current machine is giving you grief, bin it and move on. You'll be happy you did.
