Should I buy this 17 inch MacBook Pro, 2.16 Ghz for $700?

I found a guy that is wanting to trade a 17 inch Aluminum MacBook Pro, 2.16 Ghz, 1 GB Ram for $700. Is this a good deal?

Thanks for your reply. I still don't know what I am going to do. Do you have any idea what they normally sell for? I looked at the website you posted, but I wasn't sure if that is what most people pay or not. Thanks.

You can also look at eBay and see what the prices are there.

It's an okay price for that machine, Macs don't loose as much value as their PC counterparts.

Looks like they go from $800 to $1000 on ebay but that is with 2gb ram. It wouldn't cost that much to upgrade though. Not a bad deal.
