Apple also sells it refurbished for $1269 if I remember correctly.
It's not on the refurbished store right now, but check back in a few days.

Apple refurb vote here. I've actually been eyeing up the same set up but with the high res screen for 1399. Its been showing up on and off the last few days. I just can't pull the trigger til my computer sells. Bummer.
