Should I cancel my preorder?

I ordered my iPhone 4 at launch last year to upgrade from my 3G and I was eligible to upgrade to the 4s for no extra cost. I was under the impression that I'd be able to upgrade to the iPhone 5 whenever it cane out next year, based off their cycle, but it says I won't be able to upgrade till may 8th, 2013. Having the 4s isn't a necessity but I'd like to get it if I'll still be able to upgrade next year.

I'm not aware that anyone has ever upgraded to any IPhone for less than $199. New models that is.

Every ATT purchase has a 30 day return. Just have. Some patience for them to reset your upgrade eligibility date.

I wouldn't return it. I have a feeling AT&T will change the upgrade dates when the iPhone 5 is introduce.
