Should I care about MS Office's Special Media Edition?

From the descriptions I have read, it just seems like Microsoft is hoping to take over my media management. Is there any compelling reason to want the features of Special Media Edition over regular old MS Office 2008?

Hi. I too have been looking at the new MS Office 2008 lineup and essentially, the Media Edition looks wasted. Basically it had some kind of media sharing ability which most mac's can do on their own (with the use of iTunes, file sharing etc).

For the extra money, it's definately not worth it in my opinion
