I'm looking to offload my Macbook Pro, I no longer need a mobile solution. Should I put it up on Craigslist? It's an early 2011, but it was maxxed out then.. think I can get 1500 for it? Still almost like new. 16GB of Ram, upgraded display, etc.. Battery was just replaced under warranty as well.

It's a crapshoot but it's a free service so as long as you can deal with the spam emails and the ridiculous lowballers ("I give you 500 cash money + pokemon cards") then I don't see why not. I've sold two macbooks using craigslist and it's been fine. I generally get less than the selling price would have been on ebay, but by the time ebay and paypal take their cut I'm better off with craigslist, plus I know the buyer has seen the product and is happy with its condition instead of having to worry about some B.S. return from somebody who changes their mind or tried to pull a scam.
