Should I delete my itunes then reinstall with iphone disc?

iPhones and iPods haven't come with discs since the iPod Nano was released (or perhaps before). Apple decided that the internet was common place at the point.

Just run Apple Software Update and you'll have the latest version. No need to reinstall manually.
