After countless hours of repeating the process of jailbreaking and installing installer.app on my iPod, I finally did it! I mean it was one of the most frustrating things to do since I was doing it right, but it was just not working and I had to restore like 6 times. The parts that I was at where I had to restore was basically when I was using INdependence and when I was trying to install Trip2PogoStick.

That said, should I risk doing anything else to my iPod such as installing summerboard or re-arranging my icons? Has anyone ever had to start all over AFTER having successfully installed install.app on your iPod? For example, you were trying to re-arrange your icons, and the "plug your ipod into iTunes" icon comes up?

What I really want to do is re-arrange my icons more than installing summerboard. I actually like the black background and dock. Do you guys think there's a risk to re-arranging my icons? I haven't read too much about how to do it, but it seems pretty simple.

I've gotta say, if I ever have to start over again, I'm probably just going to leave it un-jailbroken since the process of doing it was just too stressful for me.

Thanks!:)
