I was incredibly happy with 1.1.4, it was fast and responsive. I didn't have apps to play around with though.

Then I got 2.0.1 I unlocked it using winpwn, so I had Cydia and Apple Apps.

The thing is I never use any of the apps, and I miss the fast response I would get in 1.1.4 (I'm pretty dang impatient). If anything, I'll miss the Exchange e-mail support.

I was wondering if I can still install third party applications when I'm using 1.1.4. Can I still use Cydia to get my apps, or do I use installer? Also, will the Mail application still fetch data automatically? I don't remember if it did it automatically in 1.1.4.

P.S. I'm using the original iPhone. Is 2.0.1 only slow on the original iPhone, or is it slow on iPhone 3G as well?

Thanks.

I never updated from 1.1.4 and I'm sure as hell not going to do it now. I can wait until 2.0 arrives for the App store. My iPhone is working just fine tha k you very much.
