I have had mixed results with the iphone 4s battery life,

These are my current settings: 3G always off unless I need to manually use the internet,

Notification center: Weather, Phone, Messages, Reminders, Calendar, Google Voice, Mail

Location: Camera, Maps, Reminders (no use since i leave 3g off), Siri, and Weather

I have 2 email accounts that i set to fetch hourly (no Push), Facebook push is off, I've done the time zone settings that improves battery life, Brightness is low

I am usually connected to Wifi and here is the battery life I get:

I am at 2% remaining with:

Usage: 7 Hours, 44 Minutes
Standby: 1 Day, 16 Hours

I practically have to turn off everything as shown above to get it to last a day and a half, but with 3G on, I'd probably get a day's use at Max,

Is this what everyone gets from an iPhone or there is something wrong?

Have a look at this thread for comparison with others.

Your usage time isn't bad, but at the same time you are turning off 3G just to get a day and a half. Is there a reason why you can't charge the phone daily?

That's about normal. With everything enabled (push, notifications, etc) I never get more than 7 hours on my 4, unless I listen to music with the screen off.
