4S, restored as new phone, charged to 100%. Steamed Netflix movies via 3G for 2.5 hours. Should I expect more than 3 1/2 hours of use out of this phone?

Don't worry about it until 5.0.1 comes out.

Anything you do now is just a waste of time.

I just didn't know if this is line with what other 4S owners are experiencing with the buggy IOS 5 or if I have a hardware issue.

Did you try any of these yet?

5 quick fixes to fix battery iphone with os 5

1. Turn off bluetooth if you are not using it
2. Under notfications shut off calander and reminders
3. under general and restrictions turn off ping
4.under general and about, go to diagonstic, turn off auto send
5 under location services. then system services turn off time zone

The time zone thing and the location services reminders really kill your battery since the GPS seems to be on a lot. At least change those two settings and see how much of a difference it makes

Streaming over 3G? Not much more than that. Video playback tests werent conducted using Netflix over 3G.

Yes, I have done it all. Standby is not bad. I only lose 1% per hour of non use standby, use it for anything and I see the .5 to 1% drop per minute.

you're fine...

you can stream 24 hours of usage just playing your music and let it sit there...no problem.

Not so sure. Dropped 13% in 7 hours on standby in airplane mode and location off overnight . Might be defective.
