Found a 2015 13" Pro for $675, and Best Buy has the 2017 Air for $750 after edu coupon. I already have a 2018 13" MBP and a 2017 12" for home. Wanting to keep the expensive computers at home. What do you guys think?
I might have to agree with that statement. You have a lot invested already, why not just use them? If you have money to burn, then go ahead about get a AIR. Thats what I just got. I'm trying to no let my screen bother me lol.Found a 2015 13" Pro for $675, and Best Buy has the 2017 Air for $750 after edu coupon. I already have a 2018 13" MBP and a 2017 12" for home. I'd go with the 2015 13" rMBP, but I'm a little biased because I went from a 2014 MBA to a 2015 13" rMBP, and I spec'd it out pretty nicely. It's not as light as the MBA, but it's close. I still take it everywhere the same way I did with my old MBA, and the retina screen and extra power make it worth it, imo.

Well, the 2017 Air was a very minor spec update over its previous version, nothing notable imo. As far as support though, it might be yeah. If that's a concern maybe just go with the newer model, in this case the 2017 Air.But the 2017 is two years newer. Will it be supported longer?
Being that you're coming from two newer model macs (even if you weren't) I'd highly recommend the 2015 13 inch pro. I tried out an Air for my primary travel computer and ultimately wound up seeking out a 2015 retina pro. Going from a high res screen to a low res proved to be a bit bothersome especially when working between the two.
I found mine for $900 with Applecare and max specs. Haven't looked back since. Not sure what sort of work you're looking to do with it, but having a little bit of extra processing power (and in my case, RAM) can be extremely helpful.
