I've been holding out on switching to a Macbook until Leopard came out. Well Leopard is out and the Macbooks were refreshed so it seems like the perfect time to get one. Would this be a wise choice considering my situation?

I'm going away to school for Visual Communications and I'll be done within three years. I have a concentration on Game Animation which means that it'll be helpful to have a computer with a nice graphics card. I'm also interested in Web Design and plan on doing that as a part time job throughout college. I figure that I can use my Macbook for web design and some simple 3D animations, and use the Mac Pros at the college for complex 3D animations.

After graduating college I plan to buy a Mac Pro or iMac. Should I just by a Macbook Pro in January instead of a Macbook now and a Mac Pro in 3 years? It seems like the Macbook Pro would be a better investment but I'm afraid the graphics card will be outdated within 3 years. I'm also tight on money but if the updated Macbook Pro is cheaper I'll definitely consider it. Sorry if this was long and confusing, any suggestions will be appreciated.:)
