Well i have seen the WWDC speech and nothing came up about the macbook. So is now the time to buy one?

I really need a new laptop to replace my aging Dell brick. I use my desktop Pc for games, so this isnt an issue.

I need a portable usable work machine for in the library at uni!

Is now the time to buy a macbook?

and i will be able to run leopard with no problems?

im gonna go for the top end white one with ugraded ram to 2GB.

It runs in at £900, bargain.

Just ordered my MBP. 15", 2.2ghz, 160gb HD, all for £1145 posted.

Should see it in a week to 10 days :)

Of course, if it's for uni you could wait until leopard comes out in october and save yourself some cash.

Definitely, it was time to get it a couple weeks ago too lol.

Enjoy it, and look into using your student discount if you haven't factored that in already.
