Hey guys, i found out that my LCD HDTV has only HDMI out put and apple or anyone else has the HMDI to USB cable... SO i am kind of getting tired of the small screen. If it is too close then my eyes hurt... if its too far its harder to see and hurts my eyes...

SHould i just sell this MB ALu and get an iMac?
How much you think i can sell it for? Its LIKE NEW i bought it refurbished, nothing is wrong looks brand new.

Thanks.
Or ask apple for exchange?

Uh, my al macbook is hooked up to my HDTV LCD right now. Minidisplay port to dvi to hdmi cables... looks great.

Why would an iMac be a better choice for you?
(I don't know what kind of out put the new iMacs have, just know that my mom's iMac G5 only has a vga out I think..)

you just need the right cables for the al macbook.

Yeah, the cables would cost $100 +
I wouldnt connect iMac to TV since it 24 then i would be fine.

Thanks

iMacs have higher screen DPI than MacBooks (the pixels are physically bigger), so it can be placed further away from you and you still would see whats on the the screen :)

Not to mention it has much more space to work on.

Why would the cables cost $100? Use monoprice for the cable. $30 for the MDP -> DVI adapter and $10 for a DVI -> HDMI cable from monoprice.

I think it's kind of silly to replace your computer over this.

Hmm thanks. Never mind i guess. Yeah i guess ill just get that cable when it comes out.

Thanks guys.

MacBook is the better idea. If you can hook it up to a big screen TV when you're home, what's the point of an iMac?

MacBook is portable.
