I'm not sure if I should get an iPad 2. I have an iPhone 4 and I love it. I'm getting a MacBook Pro in 1 month. I'm moving into an apartment where I will have some roommates, and I though that I could leave the MacBook with my parents & only take the iPad. I just can't decide what to do! What do you think?

Yes

If you can afford it, yes. At the same time however it also depends on your computing needs. If you're primarily consuming, iPad is perfect. However if you generally create, don't part with your MacBook just yet. Beauty of your "dilemma" is that for pure research reasons you could buy an iPad and hold onto your MacBook. See what you gravitate towards. If you can live without MacBook bring it to the folks, if You're using the MacBook for a majority of the time, take back iPad.
Good Luck

No, you should not. People that have to ask this question should get a Etch a Sketch. Available now in two sizes, just like tablets.

Thanks everyone! I'm just a really frugal person. There's no question that I will be getting the macbook pro, and I do really want the iPad 2, I just have a hard time spending my hard earned money sometimes, I'll probably just wind up buying it though. :)

Guess it depends what your spending priorities are, what you'll be using it for, and how much you trust your roommates.

If you don't, or don't know that you should, the MBP has a slot to lock it in place, where the iPad doesn't.

Russell crowe had an iPad and he loved it! :d

No. If uncertain, a good rule of thumb is "don't buy it". Your default activity should be saving, not buying.
