So I originally had 'purchased' it along with the 8 and 8+ for pick up yesterday. But due to some problem or whatever my status never changed from in progress so while at the Apple Store I canceled my orders and just got the phones because they said they didn't have the exact watch I ordered. I could have got a different one but I was just frustrated so I didn't. But with people having issues getting them to work for whatever reasons I may just wait. Idk. Who has gotten one and it worked automatically? How is the experience using it? Pros or cons?
 
My guess is that these are typical rollout glitches. Since the iPhone 8 is playing second fiddle to the as-yet-unreleased iPhone X, we are noticing the issues with the Apple Watch more than we otherwise would. This should all be sorted out within a few days.
