at the risk of being neurotic...

i've always used my trackpads with a tap set to click, two finger tapping set to option/right click and three finger tapping set to drag- i almost never actually click. thus whenever i've used someone else's mac with the default settings i've found it incredibly difficult to push down and hold while dragging things (other actions i could get used to).

now i have a new mbp for work. is it worth adjusting to the default behavior or am i missing something about how this thing is supposed to work?

sorry for this bush league question.

Use it however you wish, it is a tool and should be set up for whatever you feel most comfortable with.
