Should I go naked on my keyboard or keep the cover on?

I have a keyboard protector for my rMBP. Have had it one for almost 3 years.

Was thinking about going naked, but am concerned about dust, crumbs, and hair.

I know you can use compressed air but will that take it out?

Does apple offer cleaning services?

The keyboard cover is bad for ventilation. The fans draw air through the spaces between the keys.

Stop eating food over your computer.

Keep it open. And try not to treat the keyboard like a dinner plate.

Clean it with an air duster once in a while.

I think they can clean your keyboard? Have read somewhere.

Cover..... I have had mine over it for 4 years. Keeps debris out and nothing ever died.
