I was just messing around in FCE today, and I've noticed this before, but, since I'm messing around for the fun of it, I thought I'd ask.
Why do text and color layers made from the Video Generators look really blurry? I haven't scaled them at all. I've cropped the color, but I haven't changed the text (Helvetica, 24 pt.) It's rather apparent in the Canvas and even more apparent when I go to the Digital Cinema Desktop Preview. Is this something odd going on, or is it just the way FCE generates color layers and text?
