Should I have received a remote control with my Macbook

Hi,

My first post, so be gentle with me -Very useful forums, did lots of reading here before buying my refurbished Macbook Unibody 2Ghz, which was delivered this morning.

Only one question though, should I have received a remote in the box with it?

I did receive a copy of iLife 9, which is great though.

no, they stopped including those awhile ago.

ya they stopped including em.. they included it when they first sold macbooks, so i got one with my remote. although in 6 years they havent changed the remote a bit so i can still use the remote for my alu macbook : )

-Not that I needed another one anyway to be honest, I got one with my Mac Mini & another with my iPhone 3G dock & I presume they're all the same?

To get one of these, you should have checked that option when ordering your MacBook (if you did it online).

You can still buy one, though. They're pretty easy to setup, as well.

I picked up a brand new Apple remote from eBay a few months ago for £6 roughly.
