Never thought I would say that, but... I'm a WordPress user since 2007, but my crappy blog didn't have so much visits. I opened an account because I was a long time blogs-fan, and I wanted to make the same. I wanted to write about technology, but at the same time I liked music (and gossip) and current issues, so you guessed; I didn't have a right target... so sad. Then I discovered that I needed a target to attract more people, have what they want and hopefully make some money, that it isn't easy too and I needed months or more to make that work. The only time I got thousand of views (and the reason why people still coming) was because I posted about Vanessa Hudgens recent nude pics around the net (a shame, I know).

Then I decided to open a new blog with an allegedly new defined "target", which was my opinion about topics that people would be interested in. But again, I realized that it wasn't a so defined target. I also discovered that was so vain from me to believe that my opinion would be important or someone could care about to keep coming, unless I were someone important or my writing style were funny or "entertaining".
My last entry on this blog was like a month ago, and after read it again and again it look pretty bored.

So I knew about Tumblr (I actually knew it years ago) months ago, and it looked very cool for me. Designed for short posts, photos with a little text and quotes, it seemed perfect for me and my short non-targeted posts. The themes look so fresh and pretty. This is for personal use only.

But I still loving WordPress; you can add a lot of widgets on free pages, put ads and the blog format is just awesome. You also have a lot of control and WordPress treats you nice.

Al tough I decided to change the target of my blog (design and music, my two passions), and I even was thinking on a pseudonym (yes, I want to have one) I still thinking that it really needs a deep change.
So I thought about this: keep my old WordPress account (I wont "waste another domain") but constantly use my Tumblr account to attract people and redirect them to my main blog. It sounds crazy but I already have a conception of how it will be. And no I wont cheat people on Tumblr, I'll just let them know me, read my quotes and then they go to my main blog.

Tumblr is also a big candidate to replace my Twitter account, which is a very big waste of time. Since all the entire world is there (like Facebook) it loose its purpose and became boring. Again, I wont loose this domain.

What do you say? Should I let my WordPress blog die for a Tumblr? Or should wash my blog's face? Or should I close my Twitter account and use WordPress and Tumbr? Or should I use both WordPress and Tumblr? Or What? Thanks if you came here, that means a lot of patience

BTW, this is my blog, Doppifity. But I don't think many of you go there, a menos que hablen español. Anyway here's translated. This is my Twitter account.
