I read on this site that Apple has a 30 day return policy while Verizon only has a 14 day return policy. Would it then make more sense to order it with Apple in the hopes of the white Iphone 4 coming out before 30 days and exchanging it for that?

If you want the white iPhone that bad just wait for it. With your luck it will come out in 31 day and you will be screwed.

Apple doesn't have a restocking fee so barring any other pressing issue than I would buy from Apple (plus I just like dealing with Apple better than with Verizon).

Does anyone know if you can get in contract month to month pricing from the Apple store?

Apple. Great about refurbs if there are phone issues, I know they USED to have 30 day policy, thought they changed it lately but maybe it was just speculation, and also arent the phone's 50$ more expensive at verizon?

Apple makes the phone. Verizon sells the service. No matter where you buy it the plans are the same. No month to month.

I feel if you are due for an upgrade it doesnt matter who you go with Apple or Verizon. If you are paying full price it seems to make sense to pick Apple since they are 50 bucks cheaper
