I’m planning on ordering a 24” iMac (from the UK online store). I was planning on waiting for Leopard to be pre-installed but the genius in the London retail store said that wouldn't happen for a few weeks after release. (Will it really take this long?) However he did say the CD will be in the box from day one.

So I was going to try and time my order so it arrived on Friday. Since the online store says shipping within 24hrs I rang the online/telephone store to see - if I did order today or tomorrow - whether my order would be held back and then delivered with the Leopard CD in the box. The guy said that staff have been old to tell customers that Leopard may or may not be in the box and if it isn’t we’ll just have to order the £5 upgrade.

So, should I just order it today and hope Leopard is in the box? If it isn’t I could just transfer my files over to Tiger, then upgrade once I get the disc?
