Specs:G4 Mac Mini in excellent condition, G4 1.42 ghz processor, 1 Gig RAM, 80 GB HD, CD-RW, Running OS X Tiger, AirPort WiFi built-in
Seller lives nearby, wanted $210. Figured I'd low ball and to my surprise he accepted my $150 offer.
The screen on my Imac is bleeding, making it terribly difficult to get any work done. I figured $150 to tide me over for a few weeks until I can afford a legit upgrade seemed logical, assuming it will function for at-least a year as a media system.
I'm unfamiliar w/ the g4 ppc units..Will it operate sufficiently as a media player, preferably running boxee, for after I find a new replacement?
The specs seem to retail about double my asking online, but I can't shake the feeling that the age of the system may not make this such a hot deal.
Any opinions appreciated.
