should I put my PB on drugs?

Howdy yall'

I have an old pismo with 192mb Ram and was wondering what sort of performance boost I would get from upgrading the ram to its max (what is it's max, by the way?) Also, I plan to get a new iBook or powerbook in a few years so would I be able to move this RAM from my old PB to my new one?

firewire pismo 400mhz

firewire pismo 500mhz

it'll be about $300.

you can also upgrade it to a G4 500mhz for about $250

be careful though, G4 eMacs and G4 ibooks can start at $799
